    Dr. Appadurai Aaron was born to Mr. Ponniah Masilamani Aaron (P.M.Aaron). Dr. Appadurai Aaron was brought up by his mother since his father died early. In the year 1921, he got married to Mrs. Ranjitham Aaron. Dr. Appadurai Aaron worked as a secretary in YMCA and his wife Mrs. Ranjitham Aaron worked as head master in misling high school, Ooty Tamilnadu. While he was a secretary in YMCA ooty, he was invited to work in America YMCA and also university, London for Eight Years. While spending his vacation in Switzerland Mrs. Ranjitham Aaron his wife entered into glory. In memory of his wife Dr. Appadurai Aaron started the Ranji Aaron Memorial Trust in Anandapuram, Tamilnadu. In order to fulfill his wife dream of helping poor and needy people the trust started with a very less amount. During that period, water was the main problem at anandapuram and surroundings. People dependent entirely on monsoon rain water. They provided drinking water by purchasing 26 acres of land and digged wells and supplied to the three villages, where as farming also done. The great social worker Dr. Appadurai Aaron entered into glory by 28th August 1976.
